Nikki Lund to host Queen on 34th competition series on Fubu TV

Tasker & Morris Entertainment and Sacrimonti Productions announced on Wednesday a new fashion competition television series, Queen on 34th,that will premiere on Fubu TV, the new network from J. Alexander Martin and Daymond John. Production will begin this fall at the Istituto Europeo di Design and the show will premiere in January 2017.

Queen on 34th will feature 12 designers exclusively selected from undergraduate fashion schools competing in weekly challenges. The winner of the series will receive a full page spread in a top fashion magazine, a cash prize, a one-year scholarship to study abroad at I.E.D in Milan and will be supported in launching their brand and creating their first collection through professional mentoring from fashion designer and Queen on 34th host Nikki Lund.
 
"I'm really excited about hosting and producing QUEEN ON 34TH, says the designer," Lund said.  "The series will create a platform for the world's next top designers and models while fusing the global world of fashion together one continent at a time."

Lund, who recently presented her spring 2017 collection at NYFW, has had her designs worn by celebrities Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, Demi Lovato, Brandy, Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton among others.
 
The Istituto Europeo di Design was founded in 1966 by Francesco Morelli and has 11 campuses in Milan, Turin, Rome, Florence, Venice, Cagliari, Como, Madrid, Barcelona, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
