Nobis names 'Grey's Anatomy' star Giacomo Gianniotti as brand ambassador
Canadian premium outerwear and accessory brand Nobis announced on Thursday a new partnership with Italian-Canadian actor Giacomo Gianniotti.
As part of the partnership, Gianniotti, best known for his role as Dr. Andrew DeLuca on the series Grey's Anatomy, will serve as the lead global brand ambassador.
To kick off the partnership, Gianniotti will appear front-and-center of a new transitional outerwear campaign for Spring 2020.
“Giacomo's philanthropic spirit is inspiring and is a natural fit with Nobis' brand values," said Robin Yates, vice president and co-founder of Nobis, in a news statement.
"We're incredibly excited to have him at the forefront of our team of global ambassadors.”
Nobis has previously outfitted Gianniotti for his trek to Mount Everest with non-profit disaster relief organization All Hands and Hearts, to help earthquake victims in Nepal.
The 30-year-old actor also has an ongoing partnership with Los Angeles–based organization 'My Friend's Place', which aims to end homelessness among youth.
"I am thrilled to be partnering with Nobis as their global brand ambassador," added Gianniotti.
"Their passion to create beautiful outerwear and commitment to giving back to their community is truly inspiring. I could not be prouder of our collaboration."
In December, Nobis equally teamed up with NBA champion Serge Ibaka, Toronto Raptors centre, to be a global ambassador. He is expected to be featured in upcoming campaigns until early 2021.
Launched in 2007, Nobis is currently available in over 35 countries, in North America, Europe and Asia including in the U.S., UK, Germany, Sweden, and Norway, to name a few.
