In addition to carrying brand names including Rag & Bone, Elizabeth & James, A.L.C., Frame and Madewell (Nordstrom is the only department store that offers Madewell outside of the United States), the retailer also offers several Hawaii-based designers and brands, including Jana Lam, Tula, Workshop 28, Alola Maui, Michal Abramovitz and Simply Sisters.

The store opened on the five-year anniversary of the March 11, 2011 tsunami that struck Japan. To honor customers and employees affected by the event, Nordstrom is donating $10,000 to the American Red Cross in Hawaii to support disaster relief efforts.

Founded in 1901 in Seattle, Washington, Nordstrom, Inc. is a U.S.-based leading fashion specialty retailer. The company currently operates 326 stores in 39 states, Canada and Puerto Rico and 197 Nordstrom Rack Stores, as well as an e-commerce site. The company also owns and operates Trunk Club.
