Fashion designer Norma Kamali is ready to branch out into the beauty business.

The US creative, who has headed up her eponymous apparel line for decades, has announced the launch of ‘Normalife: The Skinline,' reports Vogue.

Kamali has taken to Instagram to inform fans that Normalife, which launches this week, will focus on "the three pillars" of a healthy lifestyle -- "sleep, diet and exercise." "I am sharing everything I do, everything I use and all the information I have gathered in the last 40 years!" the designer promises. "Normalife is democratic inclusive for men and women of all ages, skin color and types!!"

The project also includes a skincare collection spanning cleanser dubbed ‘Clean,' an exfoliator titled ‘Smooth,' a color enhancer called ‘Glow' and a moisturizer, ‘Soft.' The line, which can be used by both men and women, focuses on natural and understandable ingredients, such as charcoal, ground olive pits and fermented sugar beets. The line is free of parabens, sulfates, artificial fragrances and preservatives.

"The skinline was first developed as I was approaching 50 and I decided makeup was not working on my skin anymore and that if I showed my bare skin it would be a better alternative but it had to look good," reads a citation on the NormaLife site.

It looks as though Kamali isn't the only fashion player with her eye on skincare at the moment. Victoria Beckham officially announced the launch of a new beauty brand this year, hinting that the project could include skincare solutions, while singer and designer Rihanna sparked rumors that she was making a move on the industry back in April, when Page Six reported that she had applied to trademark the name ‘Fenty Skin'.
