The upcoming collaboration will mark the first eyewear collection from Virgil Abloh’s rising brand Off-White, and adds to the brand’s other list of high-profile partnerships.

Eyewear brand Warby Parker announced on Tuesday that it would be collaborating with Off-White on a new collection. The launch will take place on July 25 in New York’s Lower East Side, however the brand did not state how many pieces or what sort of styles would be included in the collection.

This is the first time Off-White will create eyewear. The brand’s founder Virgil Abloh has racked up a considerable amount of high-profile collaborations in recent months, including partnerships with Ikea, luxury e-commerce platform Mytheresa.com and streetwear brand Kith. Abloh also recently unveiled a fashion program to help at-risk Chicago youth escape gun violence and learn about branding and marketing.

Warby Parker has also released collaborations in the past with the likes of model Karlie Kloss and stylist Leith Clark. However the brand has less frequently collaborated with fashion brands.

Warby Parker was founded in 2010 in Philadelphia and is now headquartered in New York City. The company operates an e-commerce platform as well as multiple retail locations throughout the United States and two in Canada. The brand is also known for its “try before you buy” policy allowing shoppers to try out five pairs at home for five days before purchasing.
