PopSugar to launch ShopStyle checkout by end of 2016

Global media and technology company PopSugar, Inc. announced plans to launch a universal shopping checkout that will allow consumers to pay for products across multiple retailers in a single transaction. The anticipated launch date is 2016. PopSugar is also parent to fashion search platform ShopStyle.

"We know that consumers get frustrated when they have to jump from retailer site to retailer site to purchase multiple items and enter their credit card information over and over again — especially on mobile," said Sugar.
 
The universal checkout platform, ShopStyle Checkout, will debut on the company’s iOS app in Q2 of 2016 and then expand across all ShopStyle platforms by the end of the year, including Andrew Marc, Charm & Chain, Loeffler Randall, Neiman Marcus Group, Nicole Miller, Topshop and yoox.com among others. ShopStyle cCheckout will also be rolled out across about 14,000 ShopStyle Collective infuencer sites.
