Since its founding in 2011, Poshmark has amassed 1.5 million sellers and millions of shoppers, and it curates over 100 million items a month. With the recent expansion, users can select “My Shopping Interests” under their preferences to personalize their experience on the app, whether that entails shopping and selling women’s items or men’s and children’s products.

"We built Poshmark with a single vision: to become a place where anyone can buy and sell fashion in a simple and fun way. As a result, we are the largest social commerce marketplace in the U.S. that continues to innovate in both resale and retail fashion markets," said Manish Chandra, founder and CEO of Poshmark. "By expanding into new categories, we are empowering our community to now buy and sell fashion for everyone in their life, with our same core principle of creating a platform powered by love that makes it possible for anyone to participate in the fashion economy."

Over the last four years, Poshmark has developed its social commerce platform to enable anyone to be successful in selling their styles through an innovative in-app Wholesale Marketplace. In addition to the buyer and seller marketplace, users can utilize Poshmark “Stylists” that curate styles through a unique social merchandising engine.

The Redwood City, California-based company has raised over $70 million in funding from Mayfield, Menlo Ventures, GGV Capital, Inventus Capital, SoftTech VC, Union Grove Venture Partners, Shea Ventures and AngelList. The company was also named a top retail brand to watch and one of the top three shopping apps for college students in Goldman Sachs' 2016 dotCommerce Report.
