Puma is still without a leader but according our sources, the company’s China division welcome Philippe Bocquillon as president from mid-April.

The brand - owned by luxury conglomerate Kering (PPR) has not commented on the situation. Philippe Bocquillon is considered a specialist in the sport market in Asia after taking on the position of vice-president of Adidas China in 2007. He began his career at Adidas in 2004, working for the French subsidiary of the brand. Prior to that, Bocquillon spent many years at LVMH.

Development in China is a huge priority for Puma. In 2012 the German sporting brand saw sales leap by 15% to 841 million euros. Equally as remarkable results were seen in India and Japan too.
