After gaining $25 million in fresh capital back in February, luxury handbag marketplace and reseller Rebag has opened its fourth retail location in California in San Francisco.

Located in Union Square, a public plaza and retail hub in downtown San Francisco, the store is surrounded by stores from luxury brands like Hermès, Goyard, Christian Louboutin and Alexander McQueen

Inside the 1,450 square-foot store, shoppers can access Rebag’s signature Rebag Bar and wall of Hermès Birkin bags, as well as services like the company’s Rebag Infinity rental program, which allows users to exchange a previous purchase for at least 70% of the original price.

"California is one of our largest markets," said Charles Gorra, founder and CEO of Rebag. "The time is right to expand our physical retail presence to San Francisco, especially in Union Square, a mecca for luxury shopping."

According to a press statement, Rebag plans to increase its portfolio to 30 stores in the medium term, including standalone stores and locations in major luxury malls.

The new store marks Rebag’s ninth brick-and-mortar location in the U.S., joining the company’s other stores in California, Florida and New York.
