Rebag opens Long Island store

Luxury handbag marketplace Rebag has opened its eighth brick and mortar location in the U.S., in Garden City, New York.

 
Located in Roosevelt Field on the upper level near the Neiman Marcus wing, customers can find Rebag's entire online and in-store collections, along with its well-known services, like the company’s signature ‘Rebag Bar', where customers can authenticate and sell a bag in less than an hour.
 
The store also features Rebag’s ‘Hermès Birkin Wall' - a display of Birkin bags that is now a fixture in each Rebag location.

Meanwhile, its store design follows a similar aesthetic to Rebag's other brick-and-mortar stores, decorated in the company's signature pastel yellow, with an illuminated Rebag logo.
 
"I am particularly excited for Rebag to open in Roosevelt Field as we continue to extend our physical presence outside of the immediate New York City area,” said Charles Gorra, CEO and founder of Rebag, in a news statement. 
 
“We always consider our customers when we plan our retail expansions, and are looking forward to making Rebag accessible to the Long Island community.”
 
It is Rebag’s fourth retail location in New York, while it has shared plans to open a total of 30 locations in the medium-term, including both standalone stores and locations in major luxury malls.
 
Founded in 2014, Rebag has opened three locations since 2018. Earlier this summer, it opened its seventh brick-and-mortar location in the Miami Design District. Prior to that, it opened a store in California, in Arcadia.
