Rhone opens Midtown Manhattan retail experience, announces first permanent location at Hudson Yards

Men's performance lifestyle brand Rhone has opened a new pop-up retail experience space in Midtown Manhattan and has officially announced plans for its first flagship location at Hudson Yards.

Located at 1585 Broadway, the experiential pop-up features Rhone's latest collections and best sellers, as well as a series of in-store activations, such as fitness classes and panel discussions on topics "relating to the modern man," the company said. The Midtown shop is open now, and will run through May 31.

Rhone Hudson Yards, the company's premiere permanent space designed in collaboration with architect firm Oneil-Langan, is set to open on March 15th of this year. There, Rhone will become neighbors to the likes of MAC Cosmetics, Athleta and Pandora, who have all announced their tenancy at the high-profile development. 

"Physical retail complements our e-commerce business because we get to interact with our customers in real life, and better understand what's most important to them," said Nate Checketts, co-founder and chief executive officer of Rhone, in a release. "Our Midtown retail experience and Hudson Yards stores represent a unique opportunity to show everyone on the world's largest stage what we stand for and what we're building." 

The company's retail expansion comes after the company celebrated doubling in size in 2018.

Currently, Rhone offers a range of men's tops, bottoms and accessories geared toward fitness and activewear categories.

In addition to being sold on the company's e-commerce site, Rhone products are also sold at Equinox and Barry's Bootcamp locations, at select Nordstrom, Rei and JackRabbit locations, as well as at Peloton Studios and over 200 specialty stores and gyms.
