Staude, who was named Interim CFO on January 12, 2017, has worked at Rocky Brands since 2007 as Director of Accounting. Prior to being named Interim CFO, he served as VP, Accounting and Senior VP of Finance. Staude replaced James E. McDonald as Interim CFO following McDonald’s resignation from the company.

Mike Brooks, who was named CEO of Rocky Brands in December, stated, “Promoting from within has served Rocky Brands well throughout the company’s long and successful history. We have a deep bench of talented people within our organization and I’m confident that the skillsets possessed by certain individuals on our finance team make them ideal candidates for our next Chief Financial Officer. We look forward to making a final decision within the next few weeks.”

Rocky Brands recently announced new US military contracts totaled at $38.4 million over three years. The company’s military segment contributed $73.2 million in sales for the third quarter.
