Jason Brooks succeeds Mike Brooks as CEO, after Mike served as interim CEO and later CEO of the company. Mike assumed the role of interim CEO following the resignation of David Sharp, and he was named CEO after the company canceled its search for CEO.

Forty six-year-old Jason Brooks joined Rocky Brands 20 years ago as an independent sales rep. He held various Vice President of Sales positions at the company from September 2001 to August 2010. In 2010 he was named SVP, US Wholesale, was named President, US Wholesale Sales in 2016 and was later promoted to President, Core Brands.

“Jason has been a valuable contributor to Rocky’s success over the years and this promotion is a positive and natural transition,” commented Mike Brooks. “The board of directors is confident that the Company will benefit from his sales and management experience and intimate knowledge of our different business segments.

Rocky Brands in April reported a 9.6% increase in net sales, driven the military segment that increased 107% to a record $12 million in sales.
