Neinver’s six Spain-based shopping centres recorded an 8% increase in sales and a 5% rise in footfall, with 9.8 million visitors. The outlet store village in Roppenheim, France, attracted 900,000 visitors (+6%), while Neinver’s three Italian villages reported a 4% rise in footfall, with 3 million visitors. The most notable gain was recorded by the outlet stores located in Germany, whose sales rose by 16% with 1.6 million visitors, while the Polish stores’ footfall grew by 9%, to 5.6 million.

Neinver published these results while busy with renovations at the outlet villages in Vicolungo, Italy, and Roppenheim. The group’s Madrid-based outlet stores are also set to undergo a facelift soon. Neinver is building a The Style Outlet centre in Amsterdam, with 70% of retail units already sold and completion expected by autumn 2020, and a second French site, Alpes the Style Outlet, with 50% of units currently sold and completion expected by 2021.

In the 2018 financial year, Neinver recorded a 3% rise in comparable sales, reaching €971 million. The group currently operates 16 outlet store villages, the majority of them under the name The Style Outlet.
