Sarah Jessica Parker is expanding her SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker's bridal footwear collection with a new ten-piece bridal ready-to-wear collaboration with Gilt.

The ten-piece bridal collection offers dresses, maxi skirts, bodysuits, and jumpsuits. White is a key color, but the collection also incorporates accents of black with pops of grey, pink and blue.

The SJP Bridal collection takes inspiration from Parker's vision of a modern, non-traditional bride. Fabrics include cashmere and stretch crepe sourced in Europe, and the line is produced in New York.

"Whether you’re the person walking down the aisle, or you’re attending, these are all pieces that should be relevant in your closet," Parker told WWD.

"There are some pieces that feel more decadent and more specifically bridal. There’s no law saying they’re not appropriate for many other important occasions as well," she added.

Parker herself wore a black dress for her wedding in 1997, a sharp contrast to the traditional white structured Vivienne Westwood gown her Carrie Bradshaw character wore in Sex and the City, although she has since said in an interview on Watch What Happens Live that she regrets the decision.

In addition to the clothing collection, SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker is offering 15 unique styles of shoes to be sold exclusively through Gilt along with the SJP Bridal fashions.

SJP Bridal is priced from approximately $300 for a bodysuit to $2,400 for an embroidered gown. For now, it is slated as a one-season limited collection. The collection launches on Tuesday on Gilt's website.
