At the end of June, Israeli group Delta Galil Industries announced the signing of a license agreement for the men's and women's underwear lines of Adidas Originals and Adidas Sport, as well as for Wolford's lingerie and swimwear collections, starting from the Spring/Summer 2022 season. The commercialisation of both licenses in Europe will be taken on by German company Schiesser, a subsidiary of the Israeli apparel giant.

“As a company belonging to the Delta Galil group, we are pleased to be taking care of the commercialisation of the licensed products for both Adidas and Wolford. They are both highly popular brands, and they perfectly complement the Schiesser group’s existing portfolio,” said Andreas Lindemann, CEO of the Schiesser group.

Pre-orders for both licensed brands will begin in mid-July 2021 for the Spring/Summer 2022 season, indicated Lindemann, adding that European markets for Adidas licensed products will be served by Schiesser's own distribution network.

In the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and in the UK, the Wolford collections will also be distributed via the German underwear retailer’s own stores. For other European markets, the Schiesser group will cooperate with local Wolford subsidiaries.

Delta Galil Industries is a global manufacturer and distributor of men’s, women’s and children's apparel. Schiesser has been part of the Israeli group's portfolio since 2012. Delta Galil holds commercial licenses for several labels and brands, including Calvin Klein, Columbia, Tommy Hilfiger and Wilson.
