Each spring Seneca College hosts an annual fashion show for graduating students to present their capsule collections to fellow students. The School of Fashion increased their support for recent grads by providing them with the opportunity to present at WMCFW. Dobric, who is also presenting at WMCFW, took on the project to help recent graduates display their talents.

"After recently completing my master's degree at the London College of Fashion I am proud to say that Seneca graduates are at the same level as their international peers," said Dobric. "Similar to the world's most renowned design schools, at Seneca we support up-and-coming talent by partnering with Canadian designers who mentor our students."

The RED: Emerging Designers Showcase runway show will feature five pieces each from eight recent Seneca School of Fashion alumni. The eight participating designers are, Jing Zhao, Doreen To, Feyanki Law, Jiaxin Xu, Ruby Tsai, Jing Zhao, Ronald Tam and Wanwei Huang.

"We are delighted to continue the relationship with our fashion students well beyond their studies at Seneca," said Gitte Hansen, Chair of Seneca's School of Fashion. "This runway show is part of our commitment to offer exceptional entrepreneurial experiences to our students and alumni."

The RED: Emerging Designers Showcase will take place at 3pm on October 23 at David Pecaut Square in Toronto.
