Simon Property Group announced the completion of its $30 million renovation to Philadelphia Mills.

Philadelphia Mills, formerly known as Franklin Mills, now stands at over 1.8 million square feet (it added 200,000 square feet with the renovation) and houses more than 200 stores including Saks Off 5th and Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike and Banana Republic factory stores.

Simon became the owner of Philadelphia Mills when it acquired Mills Corporation in 2007. The Northeast Philadelphia shopping mall was built in 1989, and it was renamed to Philadelphia Mills in 2014.

The company announced in April with its financial report that it completed the acquisition of The Shops at Crystals in Las Vegas for $1.1 billion, the construction of Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island and started construction on Premium Outlet Collection – Edmonton International Airport in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, which it owns a 50% interest in.

Simon continues construction to Brickell City Centre, Clarksburg Premium Outlets, The Shops at Clearfork, Siheung Premium Outlets, Provence Designer Outlet, The Outlets at Orange, The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, King of Prussia, The Galleria in Houston, and Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.
