A modern and intimate atmosphere for the first Sisley store in New York. On December 1st, the luxury cosmetics line will unveil a 1,700 square foot space dedicated to its beauty, cosmetics and perfume lines.

A perspective of the new Sisley store in New York's West Village.

The opening of this new setting, located at 343 Bleecker Street in New York's West Village, marks the launch of a new concept store in which the layout and design are the work of Isabelle and Christine d’Ornano, who were directly inspired by their family heritage.

"We wanted the store to be warm and welcoming, and not for it to be designed as a sales space but more like an apartment where customers can come talk about their skin and their needs, enjoy a treatment, or have their makeup done before a night out," explains Christine d’Ornano, International Vice-President of Sisley.

The result? The famous house opted for light grey parquet flooring and a botanic print conceived by Marthe Armitage for the wallpaper.

In terms of furnishings, the brand particularly went for unique pieces, like a tailor-made floor lamp by a Brooklyn-based artist and a bookcase.

Plus, in addition to its usual offerings, this new store also proposes a spa area, where customers can discover Sisley's famous treatments and take advantage of a space dedicated to makeup.

Totally exclusive, the spa, which it will be possible to book in advance, will be the only place in New York to offer the experience of a complete Sisley treatment. Customers will thus be able to choose from an exhaustive list of treatments.

Not only that, a makeup session will come as a free gift with every treatment. The makeup space was actually designed to allow women to benefit from some advice in an adapted environment.

Finally, not long after its opening, the store will offer the possibility to receive facial treatments and makeup sessions at home from dedicated staff.

"It is our second store in the United States but it is very different than the one we opened in June in Las Vegas. We consider every Sisley store to be an artistic creation in its own right," explains Jim Maki, Executive Vice-President of Sisley USA.

Sisley has nine other stores around the world, notably in Asia: Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, China, Macau and Vietnam.
