Launching January 12, the 'Girlfriend Romper' was designed to mimic a retro ski suit silhouette and features a cinched waist, cuffed jogger leg, and zippered mock neck.

Made with 66% recycled polyester, it comes in two colours including Midnight Black and Snow Leopard, and is available in inclusive sizing from XS to 3XL.

“As longtime friends, Ashley, Mercedes, and Miriam wanted to bring their creative power together to create something unique and fabulous, that combines the best of both of these cult brands,” the Vancouver-based companies said in a joint release.

"Inspired by always-in-style retro ski suits and winter on the West Coast, the Girlfriend Romper was born."

Ashley Freeborn and her best friend Mercedes Laporte started Smash + Tess in 2016. Known as being “Home of the Romper Revolution”, the company has seen exponential growth over the last few years and has grown into more product categories including jewelry.

Likewise, Brunette the Label, launched by Vancouver native Miriam Alden, is well-known for its popular slogan sweaters and athleisure-wear, which has been approved by celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and more.

The Girlfriend Romper will retail for $145.00 CAD and will be available at smashtess.com and brunettethelabel.com.
