Surmesur store opens in Mississauga this month

Made-to-measure menswear retailer Surmesur announced on Thursday the opening of a new store in Mississauga.
 
The store will open its doors this month at 255 Lakeshore Road E. and will be the company’s sixth Canadian location and the second to serve the Greater Toronto Area.

"We’ve been in Toronto since 2013 and we have an impressive client base that comes to see us from the Mississauga area, so we decided to save them the trip and serve them closer to home,” says Surmesur co-founder François Thériault, in a news statement.
 
The 2,000-square-foot location will have a showroom where clients can peruse more than 8,000 fabric samples.
 
The move to Mississauga represents the latest step in Surmesur’s ongoing expansion across Canada, and comes a few weeks ahead of the planned opening of the company’s first U.S. locations, in Chicago and Pittsburgh.
