The latest round of remodels, which joins the more than 800 stores the company has upgraded over the past four years, will include expanding and upgrading its Guest Services, Order Pickup and Drive Up areas to make them even more convenient. Likewise, new safety features will be added included touchless bathroom fixtures and hand sanitizing stations.

Select remodeled locations will also welcome new “shop in shop” experiences, showcasing favorite products from brands like Ulta Beauty, Apple and Disney.

Following a record year in sales, Target announced in May quarterly sales that surged about 23 percent, as consumers started to flock to stores and shop for more than just essentials. Post-pandemic, Target said shoppers are spending more on apparel and beauty products as they prepare to socialize and travel.

Besides modernizing its stores, the retailer has also been investing in building its private-label brands, including designer dress collection and activewear line All in Motion.

“There’s much more ahead. We’re bringing this enhanced shopping experience to hundreds more stores across the country in the years to come. And as always, we’ll continue to evolve and reimagine our store experience to best meet our guests’ needs and how they prefer to shop — now and into the future,” the retailer said in a statement.
