Target unveils dress collection with Cushnie, Lisa Marie Fernandez and LoveShackFancy

Target is adding to its list of high-fashion designer partnerships with 'The Designer Dress Collection', a new limited-edition collaboration with luxury womenswear brands LoveShackFancy, Cushnie and Lisa Marie Fernandez. 

Featuring more than 70 dresses designed by the three female-led fashion brands, the collection marks the first time Target has created an entire collection focused on one wardrobe item. Offering a variety of colors, prints and silhouettes including shirt dresses, wrap slips, smocked dresses and more, the collection is priced between $40 and $60, with sizes available in an inclusive range from XXS to 3X. ​

The Designer Dress Collection will launch on Target.com on June 6, with a large inventory to encourage consumers to shop online and promote social distancing, as well as in select stores beginning June 15.  ​

“For more than a year, the Target team has been working closely with these three distinct and incredibly talented designers to bring our guests this special and affordable limited-edition collection,” said Jill Sando, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, style and owned brands, Target. 

“When we started working with these three designers, our collective hope with The Designer Dress Collection was, and still is, to evoke a sense of joy and confidence that comes with finding the perfect dress—especially as we hope for brighter days ahead.”  ​

The dress collection is the latest on Target's list of high-profile collaborations that merge the creativity of some of the biggest names in fashion with the retailer's more accessible pricing.

First launched over 20 years ago, Target's designer partnerships have included collections with Anna Sui, Zac Posen, Proenza Schouler, Missoni, Altuzarra and Rodarte, among other designers.
