Hilo, Hawaii-born artist Aaron Kai has become globally recognized for his signature waves and bright pop art influenced paintings portrayed in bold primary colors.

He currently has art installations in Paris, LA, SF and in 6 different countries in Asia.

He first became connected with The Hundreds in 2014 when he painted a giant wave mural on the Hundreds Homebase in LA. The artist and the street brand forged a creative friendship that subsequently led to this capsule collection.

The Aaron Kai headwear collection features 4 different graphics embroidered on The Hundreds strap-back caps. The designs stem from a throwback to Kai's San Francisco art show, "Vices."

The vices are depictions of ways to escape. In the hat collection, the Cell style depicts a flip phone, the Alco a liquor bottle flanked by two beers, Buttox features cartoon-like figure drawings and Mary features a pill bottle of marijuana.

The Aaron Kai headwear collection will be available at The Hundreds flagship locations as well as online, and at select retailers beginning August 25th, 2016.
