From sweatshirts in Thermolactyl to a new take on the iconic down jacket, here is a selection of the edgiest items to brave the winter, whether outdoors, gliding down the ski slopes, or indoors, nestling under a blanket.

Moncler X Pharrell Williams

US musician and fashion designer Pharrell Williams has redesigned Moncler’s famous Maya down jacket, celebrating its 70th anniversary with a version made in a moulded polymeric material. The 13-time Grammy Award winner has punctuated this jet-black unisex jacket with the Moncler monogram, in a cheeky new take on the premium down jacket brand’s logo. This seventh and final revisitation of the iconic model produced by the Italian label (of French origin) will be commercialised from November 26 on the Moncler e-shop and at Moncler stores.

Nasty Gal X Will Broome

For Nasty Gal, London-based illustrator Will Broome has designed a festive collection featuring colourful pyjamas, cardigans and oversize Christmas sweaters in a playful, whimsical style. The artist, who previously collaborated with Marc by Marc Jacobs and Gucci, has decorated the Californian label's knitwear and joggers with his signature, tongue-in-cheek drawings of small pandas and rabbits. The capsule collection, advertised by super-model Cara Delevingne, is available on the Nasty Gal e-shop.

Damart X Ron ron

French apparel brand Damart, founded in 1953, has co-designed with Ron ron, the label created by French TV presenter Agathe Lecaron, a winter capsule collection for the whole family. The line includes colourful bodysuits for 6-month-old babies, as well as leggings and sweatshirts for grown-ups. All 20 of the ready-to-wear items and accessories (a hat and a scarf) are made in Thermolactyl, an exclusive material developed by Damart, and feature lettering with the word “glagla”. The collection will be available from December 28 on Damart’s e-shop.

Lacoste X Goop

Goop, the lifestyle brand founded by British-American actress Gwyneth Paltrow in 2008, has added a fresh twist to the famous Lacoste polo, originally launched by René Lacoste and André Gillier in 1933. The Lacoste X Goop retro striped polo can be matched with a pair of navy blue, ribbed knitted shorts, a vintage-style sports jumpsuit with puff sleeves, and oversize zipped pullovers. The capsule collection has been available since November 15 on the Lacoste and Goop e-shops.

Carel X Salut Beauté

Featuring a coral-red vinyl dress and a madder-red, uniform-style vinyl skirt suit, the collaboration between French footwear brand Carel and Salut Beauté, a label founded three years ago by Mathilde Gindre and Sarah Nimir, is a nod to the outfits worn by air hostesses in the 1980s. The two sets are complemented by a bob hat, a pair of shoes, a pair of boots and a round handbag in the same vibrant, acidic hues. French pop singer Flore Benguigui, from the band L'Impératrice, was chosen as the face of these looks, designed for future round trips to the Moon in the 2080s. The retro-futuristic capsule collection was dropped on November 15 and is available on both labels’ e-shops.

Bonsoirs X Keur Paris

French high-end bed linen brand Bonsoirs has teamed up with Keur Paris, a fashion label and customised embroidery workshop, to produce a winter capsule collection of cosy, super snug homewear. It consists of one limited-edition bathrobe model with embroidered crest, available in six different versions. The micro-collection, of which only 400 units have been produced, will be commercialised from December 2 on the Bonsoirs e-shop and at the brand’s Christmas pop-up store, at 97 rue de Turenne in central Paris.
