Patrik Frisk will have only served for a few months as the head of the American business of the Outdoor and Action Sports coalition VF Corp. Named to the position in April, the executive, who was also the president of Timberland a few weeks ago, has announced his departure.
The president of Timberland since the brand was acquired by the American fashion giant in 2011, Frisk was recently replaced at the post by Whitney Stewart. The announcement will be a big change for Frisk, who joined VF in 2009 as president of VF Outdoor & Action Sports EMEA.
As of November, he will be the new CEO of Aldo. The Canadian footwear brand’s current CEO, Rejean Dionne, is retiring. The chain, founded by Aldo Bensadoun, has some 1,750 stores worldwide.
