Tommy Bahama collaborates with Pendleton for fashion and lifestyle collection

Fashion and lifestyle brand Tommy Bahama is celebrating its 25th birthday and has collaborated with Pendleton for a collection that focuses on both American brands’ heritage.

Tommy Bahama and Pendleton Woolen Mills launched their first collaborative collection together on Thursday, across select retail outlets of both brands, as well as their respective e-commerce stores.

The collection, “Tommy Bahama & Pendleton” features menswear, womenswear, accessories, and homeware items. As both brands are based in America’s Pacific Northwest region, the collection reflects the region with a focus on outdoors and a love of beach and surf.

"For 25 years, Tommy Bahama's mission has been to Live the Island Life," said Bradley O'Brien, EVP of product design for Tommy Bahama, in a press release.

“To celebrate this milestone, we have partnered with Pendleton Woolen Mills on this unique collaboration. Warm, stylish, relaxed and approachable are the essential elements, which dovetail our two brands. It is a true celebration of the simple pleasures of living the good life on the beach, in the mountains or in your own backyard."

The collection reflects the aesthetics of both brands and Bob Christnacht, the Executive VP of Sales and Marketing for Pendleton described the products as “dramatic and creative fashions that reflect our similar roots and commitment to quality."

Garments include knitwear, dresses, swim and active wear, coffee mugs, and jackets among others.

Tommy Bahama has over 160 retail outlets worldwide, 18 of which include a restaurant and bar. Headquartered in Seattle, the brand is part of the Tommy Bahama Group, a subsidiary of Oxford Industries.
