Taking place February 5 to 7, the three-day event will include close to 20 shows and studio presentations from both new and seasoned designers.

Hosted at Yorkville Village shopping mall, the runway shows will kick off on Monday February 5 with Eleventy, an Italian luxury brand which recently opened at the shopping mall, followed by Triarchy and seasoned Canadian designers and brands UNTTLD, Narces and Christopher Bates.

Day 2 will again include studio and runway presentations with Toronto designers Tara Rivas, Hilary MacMillan, Hendrixroe, and Montreal-based WRKDEPT, while on day 3, Montreal-based designer Pedram Karimi, and Toronto’s Hayley Elsaesser will hit the runway among others.

In 2016, IMG Canada pulled the plug on Toronto Fashion Week due to a lack of local support. The official Toronto fashion showcase was then purchased by Peter Freed, President of Freed Developments, in December, 2016. With the faith of Toronto Fashion Week unclear, the Canadian city saw a slew of new fashion events pop up including Re/Set, as well as the inauguration of TW.

Earlier this year, Toronto Fashion Week announced it would join forces with Toronto-based production agency The Collections, the founders of Re/Set, for its up-coming showcase, putting a cap on the large number of Toronto fashion showcases that took over the city in recent years.

Tickets for Toronto Fashion Week are now on sale.
