Towne by Elysewalker to come to Newport Beach’s Lido Marina Village

Towne by Elysewalker, the laid-back retail concept from luxury retailer Elysewalker, is set to open its third brick-and-mortar location in Newport Beach, California.

Set to open on August 1, the new Towne location will be located at 3444 Via Lido. It will be situated next to the main Elysewalker store, the ultra-high-end counterpart to the more relaxed Towne.

Towne’s concept is designed to provide both men and women with pieces that merge luxury style with everyday wear, embodying “casual, California cool” with a variety of luxury basics, including denim, vintage tees, knits, cashmere, footwear and accessories, the brand said in a press release.

Inside the store, women’s collections will include brands like 6397, SLVRLAKE, Nili Lotan, Trovata Birds of Paradise, and Les Coyotes des Paris, while men’s collections will include labels like Saint Laurent, Officine Generale, John Elliott, Eleventy, Frame, ATM, Golden Goose and Common Projects.

“Towne is for every suburban man and woman who does not want to leave the house in their sweatpants, but who wants to look relevant and simply styled with ease,” said Walker, the namesake stylist and entrepreneur who opened her first eponymous boutique in Pacific Palisades in 1999 and first announced the Towne concept in 2018. “Our goal is to capture one lifestyle and to present a carefully curated selection of those essential key pieces.” 

The Newport Beach store joins Towne’s other locations in Pacific Palisades and Bel Air.
A fourth store in Calabasas is scheduled to open in spring 2020. 

Currently, Walker’s business network includes five storefronts and the Elysewalker private label, as well as collaborations and partnerships like Forward by Elysewalker, a luxury boutique venture made in collaboration with the Revolve-owned FWRD.com.
