Following Space 15 Twenty in Los Angeles, Urban Outfitters has now opened Space Ninety 8 in the heart of trendy Williamsburg, Brooklyn. At almost 37,600 square feet spread over four floors, the location mixes fashion, design and even cuisine with sections like the “Market Space”, “Gallery 98” and “The Gorbals”.

Besides stocking Urban Outfitters brand lifestyle and accessories collections (décor, vinyl records), Space Ninety 8 - pushing to the retail expertise of the American company to the extreme - houses the Market Space, an area that features the work of some forty artists and designers primarily based in Brooklyn. The Market Space also unveils Urban Outfitter’s new Urban Renewal Vintage collection.

Gallery 98 will host, for its part, various pop-up stores throughout the year. At the moment, one can find the collaboration between Adidas Originals Blue and the artist Jason Woodside. Finally, Space Ninety 8 also has a restaurant and bar, The Gorbals, which with its rooftop terrace could well become one of Williamsburg’s most happening spots.
