Vancouver's Oak + Fort ventures into beauty

Canadian retailer Oak + Fort is once again expanding its product offering with the introduction of a new beauty line.
Dubbed Oak + Fort Beauty, the curated collection from the minimalist brand, which got its start just eight years ago, includes compacts, lip tints, lipsticks and nail polishes. The line was manufactured in Korea, where its founder and CEO Min Kang is from.
Though still small, the brand has said that it will drop new products monthly and are equally expected to introduce a skincare line this Spring.
The Vancouver-based company launched the new product category “in response to the need for beauty that embodies our aesthetic,” it said in a statement.
"Our approach to beauty is an effortless extension of our brand, which was built on thoughtful minimalism and quality that is attainable” and that “modest and concise, our products are designed to enhance your natural, undefined beauty and to embrace diversity within our community," the brand added.
Through its 19 locations across North America, Oak + Fort sells a range of men’s and women’s apparel, as well as homeware, which was introduced in 2016 and now, beauty.
Prices of the new beauty collection range from $9 to $28, while products are available through their online store at oakandfort.com
