Vince opens fifth store this year at Palisades Village in Los Angeles

The luxury apparel and accessories brand Vince has opened a store at Palisades Village in Los Angeles, its fifth store opening this year.

The store was designed by the brand’s creative director Caroline Belhumeur and comprises around 2,500 square feet of retail space spread over two floors at at Palisades Village, the lifestyle shopping development owned by Caruso located in the Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles.

“Our goal in designing the Palisades Village store was to create an environment that represents Vince in its most authentic form,” explained Belhumeur in a press release. “Juxtaposing natural elements of wood, stone and water against the rich fabrics and textiles of the collection, we’re able to convey a sense of uncomplicated California luxury.”

As part of the brand’s focus on customer-facing business, this is the fifth store opened this year. “Our Palisades Village store will allow us to further serve our existing Los Angeles customers in a uniquely California setting, offering them the opportunity to interact and engage with the brand in new and exciting ways,” said the brand’s CEO Brendan Hoffman in a press release.

The store includes a reflection pool, custom plant installation, and circular plaster staircase. The store has a warm interior, neutral color palette, and décor inspired by the California coastal lifestyle. The store is the first of the brand to offer a rotating calendar of events and collaborations with local artists, crafters, and wellness practitioners. Events will be free for customers, community members and visitors.

Vince is a subsidiary of Vince Holding Corp. and was established in 2002. The brand retails ready-to-wear inspired by its California origins as well as shoes, accessories, and homeware. As of October 9, 2018, the global brand operates 44 full-price retail stores, 14 outlet stores, and its e-commerce site.
