Brooklyn-based ready-to-wear brand, Voz has announced a partnership with the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women.

The Voz, UNTF Manta poncho

Voz aims to raise awareness and funds for the UNTF through fashion. The brand launched the Manta poncho, a hand-loomed 100% organic cotton poncho made by artisans in Chile. The Manta is available in five colors—ivory, copper, indigo, grey and black—and retails for $225. 20% of each purchase will be donated to the UNTF to support the financial and physical security of women and girls around the world.

Founded in 2012, Voz offers women’s ready-to-wear and accessories that are deeply rooted in the traditions of Mapuche culture in Chile. The brand collaboratively designs handmade garments, accessories and jewelry with indigenous master artisans in Chile and Peru. Voz Founder and Creative Director, Jasmine Aarons honors and empowers artisans creatively, economically and culturally by providing education, sustainable fair-trade employment, authorship credit and royalties.

The brand is currently stocked in seven countries and online at various retailers including Fred Segal Japan, Tomorrowland, Isetan, Harvey Nichols Hong Kong, Moda Operandi, LN-CC, Need Supply and Abasi Rosborough among others.

The Voz, UNTF Manta poncho is available now on the Voz website.
