Described by Mensa as a “boot-inspired sneaker,” the Wolverine x Vic Mensa 1000 Mile Combat Collection updates Wolverine’s original 1000 Mile pattern with sneaker design elements, an extra-thick sole and custom lugged outsoles made by footwear sole company, Vibram.

Launched on May 16, shoes from the collection are available in low, mid and tall heights, priced at $190, $200 and $210, respectively. Shoppers can choose from three colorways: ink (all-black), burnout (brown), and anthracite (matte-black with metallic streaks).

A portion of the proceeds from each pair of Wolverine x Vic Mensa shoes sold will go to Mensa's youth charity, SaveMoneySaveLife, which provides resources to those in Chicago's underserved neighborhoods.

The 1000 Mile Combat Collection is available online and at select retailers, including RIME NYC, Neiman Marcus and Extra Butter.
