YNAP to open tech hub in London

Yoox Net-A-Porter Group has commissioned award-winning British architecture firm Grimshaw to design a cutting-edge tech hub in London.


The space will be designed by British architecture firm Grimshaw


The space will unify the group’s UK technology teams in one location, creating a culture that encourages collaboration across teams. Accommodating for the planned 20% increase in the group’s global technology team, the London tech hub will become a space where engineers can create best-in-class technology solutions, accelerate the group’s R&D and release new tech developments. 

YNAP’s global technology team is made up of 1000 employees spread between the UK and Italy. 

“We are capitalizing on the growth of our global footprint by bringing together our London technology teams in a new Technology Hub. We believe our technology teams will thrive in a cutting-edge environment that reflects our values and vision for the future of online luxury retail,” said Federico Marchetti, Chief Executive Officer.

The fashion company’s tech offices will feature an innovative interior design with a large surface dedicated to adaptive space, reflecting YNPA’s evolving needs.

Rajesh Agrawal, Deputy Mayor of London for Business and Enterprise commented:  “I am delighted that there will be yet more new tech jobs coming to the capital. This highlights once again that London is open for business, new investment and global talent.”

No further information has been provided about the exact location of the office.
