Columbia Sportswear strengthens its management
Steve Woodside has been appointed vice president of manufacturing at Columbia Sportswear. In this new role, he will primarily be in charge of overseeing the supply chain for apparel, footwear and accessories at the American sports brand group.
Steve Woodside previously worked at VF Corp in Hong Kong as vice president of global footwear, overseeing sourcing and manufacturing. He also spent 23 years at Nike, leading textile and footwear manufacturing operations.
Columbia Sportswear has also appointed Stuart Redsun to the newly created position of chief marketing officer. Previously senior vice president of global brand marketing for Under Armour, as of October 6, Redsun will be in charge of developing and executing global consumer marketing programs for Columbia, Sorel and Montrail brands.
Stuart Redsun began his career in marketing at Nike.
