Crocs: Key changes to management

Published
May 14, 2015

Crocs has announced the departure Scott Crutchfield. The COO of the American footwear company worked for nine years on streamlining the organization of the brand, which generates more than a billion dollars in revenue. While CEO Greg Ribatt, who was appointed to his position in January, said that Crutchfield ”has played a pivotal role" at Crocs, the announcement comes at the end of a complicated quarter for the company.

Chap Kistler, meanwhile, SVP global supply chain, is also leaving the company. Management has stated that it is using the opportunity to reorganize its structure and has announced two new appointments. Phil Blake has previously served as VP of sourcing at Clarks Americas, SVP of sourcing at Collective Brands Performance & Lifestyle Group (Sperry Top-Sider etc.) besides having worked at Timberland Asia. Now, he has been named VP of sourcing at Crocs.

In terms of distribution and logistics, the company has decided to promote internally. Sheldon has worked at the company for eight years, most recently serving as VP of distribution and logistics. He led Croc’s SAP initiative and was recently named global SVP of global distribution and logistics.

Both executives will report directly to Gregg Ribatt.
