Men’s subscription service and fashion brand Five Four unveiled on Thursday its spring 2017 campaign, featuring 9-time NBA All Star and Los Angeles Clippers Point Guard Chris Paul.

Paul stars in the campaign decked out in an all-white outfit with a muted grey backdrop and the Five Four logo above his head. Five Four and Chris Paul strive to disrupt the typical dress code and be the voice of the “muted” with this campaign, asking the question, “What is your code?”

Co-founder Dee Murthy said, “Chris has such a strong voice and an amazing platform and we wanted to showcase that in this campaign. We believe fashion should be about individuality and taking some risks and Chris really embodies that.”

Off the basketball court, the NBA athlete is the President of the National Basketball Players Association, the union for current professional basketball players in the NBA. Paul also stars in commercials for the State Farm insurance company.

Co-founder Andres Izquieta added, “We have known Chris for about five years and have always wanted to work with him because of his great style and fashion sense. Besides being one of the greatest NBA players of all time he has really emerged as a fashion icon and we felt that he was the ideal person to convey the story that we wanted to tell with this campaign.”

Prior to launching the spring campaign, Five Four launched a collaborative collection with United Arrows Creative Director, Poggy the Man. Poggy is the third guest designer for the brand joining Mark McNary, who serves as Head Designer of Five Four, and Robert Geller.

The Five Four spring campaign will be visible on billboards, digital advertisements and national television commercials.
