Lands’ End adds MLB President and CEO Robert Bowman to Board of Directors

Lands’ End announced on Wednesday that it has added Major League Baseball President and CEO Robert Bowman to its Board of Directors. The election of Bowman increases the Lands’ End board to eight members.

 
Bowman currently serves as President of Business and Media of Major League Baseball and Chief Executive Officer of Major League Baseball Advanced Media, the Internet and interactive media unit of the sports organizations.
 
Prior to joining MLB in November 2000, Bowman held senior management positions at ITT Corporation, including President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

The election comes two days after Jerome Griffith assumed his role as CEO of the company. Griffith was named CEO in December, succeeding Co-Interim CEOs Joseph Boitano and James Gooch.
