Designer : arthur arbesserinspiration : superstudio, a group of architects founded in florence in 1966 by adolfo natalini and cristiano toraldo.silhouette : young, sporty, close to the body with numerous printed patterns.colours : electric, florescent, bright, pink and red clashing with blue and yellow.focus : dress in tubular mesh decorated with squares. patchwork fur for the trousers and jackets. striped mesh tops, flowing trousers with printed squares and a fully tiled catwalk for the collection.to note : masculine shoes worn with socks with the iceberg logo.materials : vinyl, mesh, fur, lurexinterveiw :arthur arbesser : it was a great start and so it’s often kind of tough to follow a great start but i think the most important thing is to follow your gut feeling and what you feel is right for the brand. iceberg is a very fun, a very young, although it’s more than 40 years old, it’s a very young and fun brand so i thought i’d go with what i feel is right, a lot of colour, a lot of graphics, a bit of logo but i always think it’s the best of quality made in italy so it’s very beautiful. i think you can do irony and fun if the quality is right.there are 3 influences. one was the work of the architecture collective superstudio from the 60s and 70s in florence, a mix of the rave and club culture of cattolica rimini where the iceberg company is from and also a bit of japenese street style. so we mixed it all up and i think the result is very fun.i think colour is one of the those elements that iceberg is really famous for. almost brave usage of colour. i think as long as you keep the shape pretty simple like here the green vinyl skirt and this really strong red military jacket, you can get away with a strong colour.nightwear is not such an important deal in iceberg. iceberg is a sportswear brand, it should be very everyday. there are a few dresses but the overall message for iceberg is daywear – it’s a sportswear brand.music of the show, (donot reuse for more than 7 days after the show)
