A look back on the highlights of the Milan Fashion Week.

A look back on the highlights of the milan fashion week. five intense days of fashion shows, with the prada collection opening the festivities, with a new mantra of thinking “more about a person’s style rather than about fashion”. as a result, essential and timeless pieces mixed with elegance and femininity were presented. through pop and vitamin colours but also multiple floral prints, nature and summer were reflected in all the collections. at fendi, there was a new era without karl for silvia venturini fendi, who signs a wardrobe that reflects the warmth of summer through bright colours, maxi flowers and natural material such as raffia. at marni, nature is also at the heart of the creative process, visible on the set but also on the clothing with a mix & match of colours and tropical prints.massimo giorgetti celebrated the 10th anniversary of his msgm label by revisiting its dna with vibrant colours, generous volumes and prints that convey beach scenes.marco de vincenzo advocates fashion for all in colours of the rainbow, by parading outdoors along the darsena canal, with models licking an ice-cream matched with their outfit.as for versace, the label was once again the buzz of the season with the iconic “jungle” dress worn by the sculptural and sexy jennifer lopez that inspired the creation of google images.moschino immersed us in his creative and joyful world around picasso’s artwork. jeremy scott uses humour and passion for a fashion created from paintings that come to life.to note, the first boss show in milan which left the new york catwalks and the more active than ever italian maestro giorgio armani, who signs two collections. also, the lavish and bright wardrobe of the missoni family label, around the huge outdoor swimming pool of milan. a fashion week that ended with two big names, the dolce & gabbana and gucci fashion shows, in two diametrically opposed atmospheres. the label directed by domenico dolce & stefano gabbana, took us into a luxurious jungle with a collection of exotic and sensual animal prints. with gucci, the atmosphere was more glacial with a series of models dressed in white camisoles parading on the moving runway before a big bang and a series of colourful proposals, as well as being more alluring with deep necklines, slit skirts or effortless slip dresses.
